Application Process

:point_right:t2: This part is important and will save you a lot of time and effort. :point_left:t2:

Before you begin drafting a formal application, it is imperative to thoroughly vet your idea to save time and effort. This also ensures that your idea is original, and will save you from wasting time on something that might be immediately rejected due to insufficient prior research.

Engage with the Gains Network community to ascertain the originality of your application and avoid duplicating efforts or pursuing concepts that may have already been, or are being, explored (if in doubt, and you can’t find the information you’re looking for through searching, it’s a good idea to explicitly ask).

  1. Pre-submission Review: Engage with the community to refine your proposal as outlined above. Join our Discord and agree to the rules in the #rules channel, then post in #gcgp-general

Disclaimer: The GCGP serves as an extension for the STIP.B, primarily aiming to foster direct on-chain activities to stimulate growth. Its purpose is to back initiatives that actively enhance the project’s ecosystem. The focus is on increasing on-chain engagement rather than funding employee salaries. By directly supporting efforts that boost on-chain activity, this strategy seeks to maximize the grants’ impact and contribute to the project’s long-term sustainability.
